Why gull screeching?

Gulls are the sound of the sea

When at the sea, you always hear the screeching of seagulls. They are acrobats in the air, giving you the time of your life. A gull screeching brings back good memories.

Gull screeching is science

Scienctific observation is requested if you want to imitate the sound of seagulls properly. If you take the time to observe them well, you will start caring for them.

Connecting gulls and people

All around the globe, there might be some friction between seagulls and humans: gulls living on a rooftop, looking through garbage to find some food or even shitting on cars. Humans should be intelligent enough to avoid conflicts. Gulls definitely are opportunitists.

European Champion forever

Everybody dreams of becoming a champion. Try it out! And you will see, the audience adores it. But first: practise and practise.

What to do on stage?

Screech and behave as a seagull.

Do it well, because you have only one chance.

The Championship 2025 hopes to receive participants all of Europe! You can only participate in one categorie:

1) Junior 6 -16 year

2) Adult (Male, Female, X)

3) Colony (teams 2-5 seagulls)

The jury

The jury consist of 5 membres. Each of them are true seagull lovers. They judge both the screeching (75%) and the acting (25%).

Workshop Meeuwenschreeuwen

Leer meer over het leven van meeuwen: hun geluiden, gedrag, conflicten met mensen. Daarna legt een deelnemer uit hoe hij of zij haar geluid maakt! Oefenen en dan als slot een klein kampioenschap waar feedback wordt gegeven naar de kandidaten. Dit concept is beschermd.
